Josh Madsen explains the similarities and differences of the Scarpa TX Pro & Scarpa TX Comp NTN Telemark Boots.

Yes, no tech toe inserts is a pretty big ‘unfortunately’ when it comes to the TX Comps! I’m a big fan of the Outlaw X, and I don’t even own tech bindings. But, the Lynx has my eye, and I’ve certainly enjoyed being able to try out the Meidjo with my TX Pros. After all the R&D that is going into the bellows for Scarpa’s next generation of boots, I certainly hope they don’t make this mistake again. Soft, hard, short, or tall, tech toe inserts should be on all future NTN models. Leather boot tech toes? Why not? Lock in and out with your pole or your lurk!
Are the bellows different stiffness as well as the cuffs?
Would love to see an NTN offering from Scarpa that is more closely related to a T2/T3. The TX Pro is pretty nice however
