Classic poles — 0.85 x body height
Skating poles — 0.90 x body height

Running surface:

Skating Ski — full-length sliding surface
Classic Ski — sliding surface + wax zone


Skating shoe — stable upper with a stiff sole
Classic shoe — soft shoe with flexible sole
