Scott Venture 2012 Freeride Ski Review

The Scott Venture Ski is a new ski for 2011/12. A freeride ski, it is aimed at strong skiers who are looking for performance off-piste, but who still need something that skis well on piste. An innovative venturi tip aids flotation and adds to torsional stiffness.

In this freeride ski review, Darren Turner, presenter of the Ski School Apps and ski instructor learns about the ski from Lee Hardy of Scott Sports UK and then puts it through its paces on the steeps and in crud on the slopes of Bormio, Italy during the 2011 SIGB ski test.

Daun Allen says:

My husband loves these!  He skied the Scott Missions for 7 years (3 different pair) and then changed to the Venture this year.  He says they are stiffer in the right places, no chatter, hold well on the ice, blast through the crud, float on the powder, turn on a dime.  What more could a man ask for???  Oh yes, a women who can keep up with him on the slopes.  Done!
